in four days, i begin university for the first time ever. talk about nervous! i've had a really great summer, but i must admit i've found myself feeling pretty bored (what with everyone i know having full time jobs and me being the only person continuing their education!). it'll be nice to get back into routine and work to deadlines etc, keeping me under pressure which is where i work best.
i was also given a uni assignment to do over the summer to bring into university on the first day we start. it's called 'a feast to behold' and the basic idea is to create a visual representation of my favourite recipe, but also create it in such a way that your peers will want to indulge in your recipe. when i first got the assignment, i was a bit like uuuuuugh, i was really unsure of what to do. i finally figured that baking is a lot more fun than cookie, so i decided on rainbow cupcakes; a more colourful and fun twist on the original cupcake!
